Timothy Turbeville, PGA

Tim began his golf career on Hilton Head Island, SC where he was the Assistant Golf Professional at The Oyster Reef Golf Club and Sea Pines Resort, which is home to Harbor Town Golf Links. At both clubs he had the opportunity to teach with a Golf Digest’s Top 100 Golf Instructor, Gary Ellis at Oyster Reef and Don Trahan at Harbor Town. From Hilton Head Tim moved to the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, where he grew up. While in the Berkshires Tim was the Assistant Golf Professional at The Country Club of Pittsfield, the Head Golf Professional at The Berkshire Hills CC and the Director of Instruction at The Columbia Golf & CC. In 2004, Tim and his wife Ann Marie purchased Emerald Mountain Golf Club in Montgomery Alabama which they owned and operated for five years. Tim comes to Falmouth Country Club after four seasons at Cape Cod National.

Tim's teaching philosophy is to teach each student as an individual. Golfers come with different strengths and abilities. He doesn't try to teach every student what he might think is the perfect golf swing. During your initial lesson an evaluation of your golf game is completed to set realistic goals for improvement and develop a practice plan that is motivating and fun.
